A designer, strategist, & writer—solving real problems.
Hi, I’m Justin Campbell-Platt, and I’m currently leading Product Design at the marketplace for independent UK brands: Not On The High Street.
I’ve spent over 12 years designing native apps, building websites, and am
now leading product design as a function and vehicle for guiding and
enacting company strategy.
I work best in lean companies with large, undefined problem spaces. I love the possibility of being the first in an area to design a product that reflects both a focus, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
I love to help teams build tools, not just shopfronts. Products that enable companies to truly sell customer transformations. This is why I usually look to retention, meaningful conversion, and a reduction in customer service tickets as my key metrics for projects.
And in this post-AI world, I’m investigating how products can be more than utilities, but relationships.
My work over the years has also included:
Teaching behavioural psychology to 130,000+ product team members
Crafting demos that helped raise £100,000+ in startup investment
Launching a media company at age 14
Running a media team across 3 conference events (Brazil/Canada/Ireland)
Having a podcast that was featured in Amazon’s “Hidden Gems”.
